Maintenance Districts
Check to see if your neighborhood is in a Maintenance District. These areas receive special maintenance attention for street lighting, landscaping, trails, or other extra amenities provided in conjunction with the City of Brea. Homeowners collectively pay costs to cover their extra measure of services received from the City that are beyond what a typical development tract may be able to provide on its own. Some districts provide both landscape maintenance and lighting while two are lighting-only districts with a separate homeowner's association providing other service such as landscaping.
