Recycling and Waste
With the numerous positive impacts recycling has on our environment and the community, the City of Brea values recycling and reusing materials with the goal of diverting them from the landfill. The City has contracted with Republic Services as the sole waste hauler for residents and businesses in the City. The Olinda Alpha Landfill, located in the City of Brea, is operated by Orange County Waste and Recycling (OCW&R).

To sign up for residential service or amend your existing residential services, please contact the City's Administrative Services Department at (714) 990-7687. For requests and questions related to commercial service, trash pick-up, bulky items, e-waste, or recycling, call Republic Services at (714) 238-2444.
