Draft Maps

At the April 5, 2022 City Council Meeting, the City Council voted to not proceed with transitioning to by-district City Council elections. 

Draft maps may be completed online by using either of the City’s online mapping tools and published or downloaded and emailed directly to districting@cityofbrea.net. Paper map submissions will also be accepted via email at districting@cityofbrea.net, and can also be dropped off in-person or mailed to the Brea Civic and Cultural Center (1 Civic Center Circle, Brea, California, 92821).

Second Deadline Submissions

The second deadline for community members to submit their proposed maps for the second publication of draft maps was Monday, February 14 at 5:00 p.m.   Draft maps submitted prior to the second deadline were published below on Wednesday, February 16 and will be presented for City Council's consideration at the February 23 Public Hearing.

First Deadline Submissions

The first deadline for community members to submit their proposed district maps for the first publication of draft maps was Friday, January 21 at 5:00 p.m. Draft maps submitted prior to the first deadline were published below on Tuesday, January 25 and were presented for City Council's consideration at the February 1 Public Hearing.
