Station & Apparatus Information

Fire Stations

The department's facilities include fire stations and administrative offices. Each station is assigned to a fire management zone, which is a geographically based area of responsibility that represents their primary assigned emergency response district.

Administration

The department's Administrative offices are located in the Civic and Cultural Center at One Civic Center Circle. Being located in the same facility as other city departments, including Police, leads to an enhanced work relationship.

Station tours are available to the public and groups by appointment only, call 714-990-7622. We also host an annual open house at Station 1 in May so be sure to look out for advertisements prior to the event.

Equipment

The Brea Fire Department has an internal equipment committee that identifies equipment needs, researches new equipment and tools, and makes recommendations for purchase. This applies to everything from small equipment to the purchase of new fire engines. The apparatus and equipment in the Brea Fire Department are generally of three types:

  • Engines and ladder trucks
  • Miscellaneous equipment
