The Brea Fire Department now has the following forms available to download for your convenience:
Permit Applications shall be submitted in person with 3 hard copies of plans and 1 electronic copy in PDF format. The PDF can be on a flash drive, cd, or DVD. If submitted on a CD or DVD, it will not be returned. We accept check or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Each permit paid by check needs to have separate checks. (Example: 3 permits = 3 separate checks)
Information (Public Records) Requests
Information Request Forms can be mailed, faxed, emailed, or submitted in person. It may take up to 10 business days from the day we receive your request to respond to you. If approved, you will be contacted to set up an appointment to view the files.
Candle/Open Flame Permits shall be submitted in person. Please call to schedule a Candle Test appointment with at the number listed below.
If you are hosting a special event such as a company picnic, employee appreciation, car show, or church event; please fill out this Special Events Fire Application and submit with event layout to address listed below. You can also email this application with layout here. Larger events will also require a Temporary Use Permit to be submitted to the Planning Department. Applications must be submitted at least a week prior to event.
