Brea Senior Center Shuttle

The City of Brea currently offers free shuttle transportation to and from the Senior Center and to pre-scheduled shopping. The shuttle operates every day Monday - Friday. An application process, 60+ years of age and Brea residency requirements apply. Once approved, requests for ride reservations must be submitted only one business day in advance before noon.

There are two pick-ups for shuttle rides in the morning. The pick-up time ranges are determined the day prior, however usually take place between 8:15 – 10:00 a.m. The shuttle provides two options for return rides back home after lunch on a first-come, first-served basis. After the first round of drop offs, the shuttle returns to the Senior Center to pick up those wanting to go on the second drop off.

Local Scheduled Shopping Trips

Departures for shopping trips from the Senior Center are scheduled as follows:

Mondays, 12:45 p.m. – Walmart Shopping
1^st Wednesday of the month, 12:45 p.m. - Ralphs/Rite Aid Shopping
3^rd Wednesday of the month, 12:45 p.m. - Albertsons/Trader Joes Shopping

The Brea Shuttle departs from the Senior Center at the noted times. When picking up the participants at the end of the shopping experience, they will then be dropped off at their residence. Shopping locations may include but are not limited to: Ralphs, Albertsons, Vons, Trader Joe’s, Wal-Mart, Target, 99 Cents Store, Sprouts and retailers in the Brea Mall. Restrictions apply.

9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Enroll in a new Van Service available for Brea residents, 60+ years of age. For $2 per one-way, this service is available to go and enjoy community locales, run personal errands, visit friends, and more. Application is required, and ride reservations must be submitted at least 3 business days in advance. Mileage limit: 5 miles (within Orange County). For more information, call 714-990-7750.
